Randall rg-80 combo….

One popped up local and I’m not to squared away on Randall products. I would be running it through a 4x12 btw….

I used one in my first real band.
Ran it through a Carvin 4x12z
I used the old DOD Bi-FET preamp pedal as the boost.

I had a Randall RG-1503-212 combo, that was damaged by UPS, and they lost the footswitch, but the amp worked. 3 channels, channel three was brutal high gain. Very good amp, but finding the footswitch was tough, I never found one. I liked channel 1 clean, and used channel 2 for rhythm and 3 for leads.

Lynch and Gary Sunda designed the original Randall RG amps together. Or at least Lynch helped. They were going for a SS copy of one of George's jose modded Marshalls.
That’s interesting… 🤔
GL was involved in a ton of shit over the years.

I've got one sitting in my basement.

Can't run them into an attenuator or power station. Something about the way these are grounded. I emailed Randall about it.

You'd have better luck finding Gary on Facebook. He posts in the Randall fan pages a good bit.

At least regarding the power station, surely there's no reason you couldn't go Randall FX send > Powerstation Aux input (line in)
