Well, this was almost 40 years ago.
It didn’t sound like EVH’s Marshall.
I did like it though.
Especially with the DOD boost.
It was MUCH better sounding than the Peavey amps I’d been using before it.

I had a Randall RG-1503-212 combo, that was damaged by UPS, and they lost the footswitch, but the amp worked. 3 channels, channel three was brutal high gain. Very good amp, but finding the footswitch was tough, I never found one. I liked channel 1 clean, and used channel 2 for rhythm and 3 for leads.

The old Randall RGs are kind of like solid state JCM800s. Boost it a ton and you will get Pantera tones.

Lynch and Gary Sunda designed the original Randall RG amps together. Or at least Lynch helped. They were going for a SS copy of one of George's jose modded Marshalls.

I love my RH200. Dime used the SC version on GST. As others have said you have to boost them to get the pantera goods.

Also a fan of the M-80’s.

At least regarding the power station, surely there's no reason you couldn't go Randall FX send > Powerstation Aux input (line in)
