Go INDY!

Hey, just an FYI for everyone who saw the Colossus on the Ampfest clips. This amp KICKS MUCH ASS!!! We didn't have a ton of time to dial it in but personally, what I heard was just gobs of great tone, tons of tone-shaping options, and we didn't even get to the highest gain the Colossus can deliver on the clips. I would definitely like to check out this amp much more in person.

Kyle, can you please PM me and let me know how much a Colossus would cost, shipped to 91351?

Thanks!!
That way I could check this out, good call Race!!!!  Hope to check this out again Kyle!!!

Who's ready for some NAMM hotel jamming?!?!

Haha! Yeah, that's a piece of paper with Rich's (MightyWarlock) band name "Evil Epitome". Rich graciously loaned me two Mesa cabs and two guitars for demos. A stand up guy for sure!

Tell me about the 1x12 cubes!
I'm working on a new design, not another copy of other's work. There's more work to do with other products into February, and the new 1x12 and 2x12 cabs should be ready in late March. I'm planning to build up a handful of 4x12, 2x12, and 1x12 cabs for inventory then. The cabs will remain bare so the customer can choose whatever grill cloth and tolex they like.

Any features in particular you're looking for? Have you tried others and not been satisfied?

I spent a solid hour/hour and half playing this amp last night....and it is unbelievable!!! Probably the most versatile high gain amp I have ever played. 4 channels that really are 4 different but all in the same. The clean is no joke the best clean I have ever played. Then the crunch channel is all that classic rock tone you can handle. The two lead channels are slightly different in voicing and come with the mode switch, fat switch, and bright switch that makes so many tone shaping possibilities. Then on top of that you have master controls for a lead solo work. The bottom end is chest rattling and it can sizzle that 80's hair high end tone with great ease. Plus it is a very very very tight amp that is extremely forgiving.

I think the most impressive thing is, Kyle's attention to detail and high quality construction and components. These amps will out last us I think. Built like a tank! Kyle's like a mad scientist without the mad part. ;) Pair this midi amp with the midi controller and it becomes a very useful live rig with on the fly tap tempo and preset revision of memory on the fly.

I usually don't pump amps too much but this amp was certainly something special!

I'm looking forward to beating the shit out of it..
With many videos to follow.

Many videos to follow after tonight's epic adventure. Killertone rocked the hell out of the Colossus, and beware of some Andy Wood content!

Hey, YOU and I both hurt those strings too!  :m17: :scared:

Just wish my guitars were staying in better tune...

But yes folks, plenty of Video's to come! (and boy, that Q3HD eats batteries faster than Kyle devoured his In 'n Out burger!)

The amp sounds better than it did at last months Lugofest, as he Tweaked it to make it tighter, and it definitely shows!!

Good job!

Glad I could help out!

That was a lot of fun. Thanks for letting whack away on the Colossus! And for the beers!

The amp sounds killer. Lots of fun to play. You got something good going there!

Some ridiculous metal for you guys. This demonstrates the tightness of the amp pretty well. Jason (killertone) has an awesome right hand -- such a great player!

Love the rack amps, and switchers. If you end up doing some Thieles let me know.

Got a chance to hook up with Kyle while down there and play this amp,and it was a killer fucking experience for sure!!!!Great tone and just a well built and designed amp,and the fact that is sounds great is a plus, play this fucker if you get a chance cause I think you'll like.....Hey Mikey!!!!!Kyle thanks for the hospitality man!!!!!

well...I have always been a 2x12 or 4x12 guy. however, I live in an apartment and do not play out in a band so a 4x12 is an overkill. I am in the process of building a smaller rack rig with 1 to 2 1x12 cabinets. So I am shopping around at the moment!

Killer Clip

If anyone in the L.A. area wants to check the Colliseum 100 amp out, it is still here in CA for a few more days.

It will be leaving my posession very shortly, so PM me if you want to check it out Tuesday or Wed. at the latest.

I'll have probably delivered it by then to where it needs to go next.
