Rockerverb 50 vs. Shiva - and a NAD!!

The Shiva 2oth has allot of gain and sounds and feels great.

This, if you can swing it. I prefer it over the Rockerverb...just my opinion.

That's not what is being offered up. If I had the means for it though, you can bet I'd have one.

Choice made!

Not a lot of gain, true, but with the right boost, it will ROCK. It's pretty damn good with the good ol' SD1. Got some tweaking to do!

if nothing else, I think that the shiva is worth more and u can always convert it over to head form from combo if u wanted.

Played it for a couple hours tonight. Lotsa potential! The SD1 is a must though. Too much of it's own gain, and it gets a little mushy. The SD1 keeps it crispy/crunchy, but somewhat fluid as well. I'm trying to dial the high end too - it can get bright quick.

I agree - the Shiva probably tipped the value scale in my favor, and yes, I will likely convert it to a head if I can scare up a shell.

The shiva amp is amazing in it's own right. You are going to love it. I recorded 2 albums wit one and the guitar tones were incredibly organic and lush.

Great amp. A buddy of mine has 6L6 version of the Shiva and it sounds awesome and takes pedals well too.
