Selling most of my gear.

Thanks man. Stage 4 colon cancer (get yer colonoscopies, they suck but not nearly as bad as the alternative). The money isn't as much of a concern as making things easy, I just don't have the strength to list everything, ship, etc. Simply getting things ready to be picked up is exhausting.

This post was more about the feeling of letting everything go, not looking for any help. I never married or anything, outside of work I just had guitar along with some other hobbies, so it hits hard.
I am so sorry brother, but so many that have been given a death sentence and told get your affairs in order have been cured with something called fenbendazole, its a dog dewormer but has saved many human lives. At this point its worth a shot. Also look into vitamin b 17. I pray for you and your family, my friend!

I love the idea of hanging onto ne amp that is manageable for you and gives you as many tonal options as possible - can't go wrong with the Mark-V. Not sure if you have a combo, or a head. If its a head, a nice 1x12 is all you need. Pick that one guitar that just has the right mojo every time you grab it.

I TOTALLY get the nagging thought that I need to thin out my gear every time I walk through my gear hovel. I am telling myself it can be liberating and can be the beginning of a completely new relationship with music.

Focus on relaxing and recovering. Cortisol is the WORST thing for the human body and our bodies pump it out by the truckload when we are upset, worried, stressed in any way. Put yourself and your peace first above all else.

I was with my best friend the last night he was alive with Stage IV squamous cell Colon Cancer.

It has been cured, allegedly, even at that stage. Here's to your quick recovery!

Stay positive, I survived prostate cancer.
Appreciate you and @chris lykins using the word 'survived'.

I lost plenty of relatives to cancer and I fukkin' hate it when people use the term "I *beat* cancer"... it implies that people who died from it, didn't work/fight hard enough against it and that's just not how it works.

Sandman can back this up.

I'm very sorry to hear this news Tommy, I will pray for you.🙏

As others have already mentioned. You may want to look into the fenbenazole protocol. A gentleman named Joe Tippens was given the same diagnosis so he had heard about the fendbendazole protocol and said may as well try it. He is cancer free today, same with Kevin Hennings in the Breuer interview below. Here are some resources if you are interested, Godbless.

Kevin Henning also has a facebook with the protocols mentioned in the Jim Beuer interview if it is still up.

30+ years of accumulated guitars, amps, pedals, getting ready to be picked up by the estate auction people to be auctioned off. Keeping one guitar, one cab, Fractal FM3, and Fryette PS100 for the power amp. Probably hang on to the Mesa Mk V for now too, gotta have at least one "real" amp. Everything else is heading out. Synthesizers and camera gear will be going next. So sad to be saying goodbye to all this gear I've enjoyed so much over the years, but I don't have the strength to manage it all and don't want to leave it to my family to deal with when I'm gone, they won't have a clue what this stuff is.
I've already downsized years ago. You will be fine.

I don't know where you are @tommythelurker but there are many bros here who will help you out free. I am in St Louis.

My dad took fenbendazole. He was 75 yrs old and down to 98lbs on hospice care. Doctors didnt care about him anymore. We started giving him fenbendazole and lots of prayer. He is now 78 yrs old and is 175lbs living his life enjoying the ourdoors etc…fenbendazole is worth a try for sure!

My wife and I have a verbal agreement that she has to live one day longer than me to deal with these issues.

I will help you out bro. If I can. If you want. Of course my past couple altruistic ventures blew up in my face….
