So this here is something I'm working on right now.

I acquired an SG Standard neck that had been violently divorced from it's body, with astonishingly no damage whatsoever to the neck.

So I did the obvious and made a new body for the neck, mahogany with a thick maple cap. It's going to be my version of an SG Supreme with a slightly different control layout.

Ain't going anywhere. Love it.
Best VH tones I've had, Pantera too. The way it plays does things my other guitars don't.

SG’s are great guitars. Sold the Standard though. Big 50’s neck but awful neck angle. The ‘82 USA Epi( bought new). ‘90 Custom and ‘61 Epi Crestwood (is pretty much an SG).
