... And used ChatGPT to do it. Like copy pasted a ChatGPT prompt, probably on the lines of "How to tell a guitar XYZ". And preachy too, like "I play better than you, so listen up."

On his channel, there was one video of some woman doing splits in a gym.

I mean, it's sad enough I have just 40 subscribers, what else do these people want?

Maybe this will help you make a point:

I’m sorry dude. I was having a bad day. I’ll delete it now.

That's why my old band used to suck on purpose. You can always tell who gets it and who doesn't.

My first band I was in had a song we called "Happy Ending" that was all happy and groovy, but had a grindcore ending. When we played it out (My second ever show), there were these cute girls in the back dancing along with it. They loved it, and then we shifted modes to Locrian, clicked on the distortion, and went to screams and blast beats. The look of horror on those girls' faces was glorious. They were devastated. We ruined their favorite song. That became my one musical goal for Something Involving A Monkey.

There’s nothin’ stopping the raw, sexual power of Locrian.

My little YT guitar vids get the drive by negative Nancy comments. Granted there are times when I suck at guitar.

I always try to have a little fun with the "you suck," comments, without throwing negativity back.

I specialize in replies that are in the "village idiot zone."

On his channel, there was one video of some woman doing splits in a gym.

Correction, he has zero videos on his channel. He only has a playlist of 15 exercise videos from other channels:

None of these videos features a woman doing the splits. As someone with a very strong fetish for what you described, I find your post to be most misleading and I am very disappointed with you, nightlight.

DO BETTER!

I suppose now you can go on TGP and start a thread titled, "Some guy tore into me on Rig-Talk over a nonexistent video of a woman doing the splits".

developing thick skin doesn't come easy, I know you are here probably just to vent, but the fact you are willing to put yourself out there is HUGE

I hear superstars on media say all the time, "Getting mean comments affects you, I try and not pay attention to the negative stuff," Howard Stern is always encouraging guests NOT to pay attention to anything negative, just don't read it

I used to work for a pro audio company and would do gear demos for their YouTube channel. I got really excited when we got our first negative comment. We had finally made the big time!

Even guys like Eric Johnson have people leaving ridiculous negative comments under his videos. Some people are just cranky and have nothing better to do.

Good point. I watched a video where Scott Henderson (jazz/fusion legendary level) was on vid improvising, just slaying it. High level outside stuff but still grooving and accessible, just brilliant playing.

It was an impromptu phone type recording, which I was surprised to see because Scott is really active getting unauthorized vids taken down. Not a money thing, he's genuinely really sensitive to clips being posted with bad audio, or from a performance he didn't perceive as being that great.

Most comments were the expected "Amazing Scott's awesome etc." but there was one touched canoe that commented "timing was shaky in some spots." Scott was swinging his associated off but his timing was far from "shaky."

At that moment it came together that this was the same ilk that drop the drive by stinkers in my comments. If Scott Henderson gets them, I guess I ignore LOL.

I do pretty well not worrying about it, but not gonna lie every once in a while a comment can bum ya out for a little bit.

Yep totally agree. I just have a humble YT channel and gets bad comments regularly. Enough that it slowed me last year to post more content but working on "developing thick skin" in 2026 and looking at posting more just mindless jams. But it does hit me hard. And when you go check the profile of who posted those nasty comments, most of the time it's an empty page with no content

Oh, I pointed it out to him, so he probably thought he'd prove he was legit by removing it and posting more videos. Like you're trying to prove you're funny.

Any of him playing guitar? Or just some random clips?

The algorithms on YT are quite precise when people with multiple accounts start disliking a video and the ratio skews towards more dislikes than likes.

I suppose you were just more concerned that he didn't just have one exercise video, he had 15 *dawk*.
