Spector Euro basses.. how do they stand up to the US models?

Hello again all... been thinking basses lately and really been into the Spector basses... I've seen and played the Euro line and man, they're pretty nice and a little pricey. One I've been eyeing is going for around $2500 new. I did notice that it says on the back of the headstock that they're made in Czech Republic under license by Spector. Is this to say the US models are far superior? Guess I'm wondering if the relation from the import to US is a similar situation to, say a South Korean to US Schecter or LTD to ESP. Is Spector using the same quality tone woods and finishing? What is the resale value of these basses? I've played some nice Korean imports, I have a Schecter Loomiz 7 and I'm still blown away at how nice playing a guitar it is. Just that I know nothing of the Czech made Spectors. Does anyone know if they come out of a Spector only factory or is it a ghost builder factory like the one in South Korea where they build Schecter, LTD, PRS SE, and so on? I know I'm pretty looking a little too deep into this, but when you're deciding to shell out $2500 on something like a guitar, you'd wanna know all the ins and outs of the situation, especially when there are high quality US made basses from other brands in that price range.

I have a US NS5 and have owned and played some of the Czech ones. If someone blindfolded you, you'd have a hard time telling them apart. There are some differences with the electronics (only the US basses have the infamous HAZ preamp) and parts (Czech bases now use zinc bridges, I believe), and wood selection.

But really, the Czech bases are very nice.

Bass prices are nuts. A US Spector can be $3k used and $5k new. Or more.
