Killer as usual, had great tone too (just like Frank Hannon was using a TSL, maybe the same one?)

I'll find out

Dammit I missed it!!

Don't worry dude. It will be on again about a dozen more times over the next few weeks. But yes, he ripped it up. The bar seems to be getting higher with the guest players on TMS.

Yeah I thought it might be the same amp!?! Still SS killed!! What a great guest guitarist!!

Jim

Did they have him onstage as a guest or just the guest musician playing the outro for commercial breaks?

Here's the answer

Thanks zz666,
I used whatever was already available at the show. Some model Marshall...although i did bring a Xotic BB plus to give me a bit of boost. When you do TV it's usually best to use what the producers are use to. I had to play at a very modest level as well, the cab was aimed right at some girls head not more then 8 feet away.

Saw the show last night. His tone was the best I have heard on there so far.

What pickups were in the Les Paul he used?
only could see the neck pickup close enough, but it had 3screws upper (E,A,D strings)\then
3 screws lower covering the G,B and E.

TMS is going on tour. They'll b making a stop here in Detroit. I'm thinking about checking it out. It should be wild.

Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell's

The BK Rebel Yells I had didnt have the 3up ,3 down screws.
And mine had the Ray gun covers.

ZZ,ask Steve what they are.

Yes indeed. Rebel Yell pickups in that guitar.

I saw this show and Steve played really well. I did think it was funny that on I think the second break he played some lead stuff on the higher strings and as he worked his way lower on the neck and ended up hitting a power chord on the lowest two strings and the low E string was out of tune. I just kind of thought, "and that is why I don't use Les Paul's". I can't get them to stay in tune either

They should have SS as a guest. He made Billy Idol a star and played some killer stuff for Vince. Great guy and probably has all kinds of stories. TMS is carrying the banner for rock & metal, mad props to them for that.

That show is anything but wild.

    so true. They ragged on the girl from India for being very un-metal in the way she said "Metal rules"....Pot meet Kettle

I didn't care for his tone. Way too much saturation. Really dig his playing though, even if he was having trouble breaking away from the fast arpeggio action. I could imagine if you're not relaxed, having to blow out something on command that needs to be 20 seconds long could be pretty tough on the creativity.
