See, I think that demo is about useless for much other than how tight the amp is. A bunch of palm mutes don't tell me a whole lot.

Same reason why I hate amp demos where all they do is shred.
Yep. I suppose that clip might not be considered a demo, but just dude playing around. What I'd like to hear is some open chords, a few line runs, turn the vol up and down on the guitar, start EQ at noon and show me both directions, that sort of stuff. A guy that is really good is Andy at Pro Guitar Shop.

I have one of the Fistpump heads and it sounds really good, not to mention it is pretty small and portable, not to mention,100 watts....of course,I like KRank as well, have a kstein plus loaded with kt88's that just kills......Im just the opposite of the guy that posted with the recto,I got a recto and sold it after playing it next to my krank, krank just sounds alot better, esecially live and without having to use any pedals,etc..Ive always like recto tones, just not the amp for me I guess, dont have that touch with them and dont see th esense in buying an amp for that much money to have to use an od or eq pedal to achieve certain tones like alot of guys do,especially when I dont need to with the krank.IT is a tough amp to dial in with the presence and sweep controls being so sensative, but killer once you get it.Im always getting people asking what I use live, though I dont dial it like alot do ive heard,I like a more open and clear/full tone.Yeah, stupid names for amps, but they do sound good.....especially considering I got a new one for well under a grand....

I thought the new company was called "Revolution Amplification"..... Stiff amps is much, uh...worse....

Revolution Amps are having an open house today.... They're about to be released for NAMM
I think the stiff amps are lower budget
Revolution looks interesting, more along the vibe of 1980 & Chadwick, which is a good thing.
Chadwick has a Killer clean channel, really special. I hope to attend, but may need to bring my 3 year old, lol

no,not lower budget at all, just the line he did after he left krank....the FP is supposed to be a revolution with some improvements/upgrades.....you can tell it sounds better if you have them side by side, seems to be a little cleaner and the high end doesnt get as spikey as the revs can get.It is a good sounding amp.Like that it is so easy to transport without sacraficing power/tone....I liked the chdwick alot too....ive had 2 an sold them both, but still toy with getting another.......Im curious to hear the revolution amps.......
