That's the DSL100MLB? Like 2008/2009? That's the one to have. That was a limited edition with all the upgraded boards and no issues to worry about.
yep, ive had 2, this one is a 2009 and i had a 2005, outstanding amps. That's the DSL100MLB? Like 2008/2009? That's the one to have. That was a limited edition with all the upgraded boards and no issues to worry about.
He's put it back up .. this is the third time I've seen him list it in a week.Someone over at TGP has been putting up a 1923 Limited Edition for a couple of days and then taking it down. I thought about it but it was a little more than I can get the 100HR new. I think the 1923 was built in 2008 with better parts than the regular DSL 2000 50 watters though?
Looks like you just volunteeredWe need a volunteer to try this. If it tightens the low end, it might be great for someone like me.

In my experience the JVM has a significantly tighter more percussive low end by comparison to the DSL.I figured I would just get a JVM410 because that would be a safer bet for tightness in the low end. But, i heard that this DSL has a tighter lower end in the high gain channels.

Haaaa...I dont mind taking the blame for that. I continue to be surprised by what a solid amp the JVM410H is. I look back at the review I posted here several months back, and still stand behind every word long after the new car smell has worn off.I am so close to getting a JVM, will probably happen before the end of this month. I know the DSL can sound amazing with a boost in front, but I just prefer amps by themselves most of the time. Also love how the DSL has external bias adjustors (why don't they do this for the JVM!?). I wish all amp makers did this.
Also, you're partly to blame for this JVM interest.
I've had a DSL40CR and loved it. I was shocked by how great it sounded. It had a great, quiet loop and if you get the 6 button footswitch you basically have a 12 channel amp. It took pedals extremely well both in front and in the loop.I figured I would just get a JVM410 because that would be a safer bet for tightness in the low end. Well, I just pulled the trigger on a new JVM 410H. I got a great deal on a new one at MF. It should be here next Friday.. Killer....I took a chance...turned out to be way better that expected. Grossly underrated high gain amp in my opinion.Well, I just pulled the trigger on a new JVM 410H. I got a great deal on a new one at MF. It should be here next Friday.. I'm pretty excited![]()
Well, he was a drummer, so there’s thatI also heard that the DSL 2000 50 watt was Jim's favorite amp and why they did the 1923.. wonder if that is true?
I found Jason's mod videos on the 100H. I wonder how different the HR would be? He's got two vids on this:
