Because nothing screams "I've come to destroy you!!!" like a black Les Paul Custom.

triamp_al_head_450px.png

Because I have a hard on for TriAmps and it's purple!

Every single amp I could find, and all brands and style of guitar... Pedals too while we are at it. And have Bradshaw build me a hangar where it was all hooked up, and switchable.

The hangar next to it would be for bass. And drums in the next one, a
Studio in the next one and so on. Literally have everything hooked up. All kinds of recording rooms. You get the idea...
Orchestras and session players and singers of all kinds living on site on 100.000 a year each... Available 24/7.

The whole compound would resemble the worlds
Most awesome logo from the sky.

One week of doing my own music, and one where a band comes to record for free. 50 weeks a year.

Man I hope those share prices start creeping up soon...

I wouldn't do too much different. I'd stick with the same basic CAE/Soldano rig I've used for a while now. Probably the same GMWs, PRS and replica Les Paul. The big place I might spend some money is a thinline hollowbody for jazz - I keep trying Gibsons, and I keep not liking them. I'd probably get a Collings SoCo Deluxe or something. I might mess with effects and switching a bit.

Touche, and agreed.

So, on that note...

I guess I would get:

1.) '59 Les Paul 'burst'
2.) '59 Gretsch White Falcon
3.) original late 50's/early 60's Gretsch White Penguin
4.) '74 Les Paul Custom black beauty
5.) '69 Marshall 1959 Superlead, mint
6.) Mesa MKIV small combo, Rev B, wicker and hardwood
7.) '78 2204
8.) Fender Twin reissue
9.) 90's Sampson-era Matchless Superchief head
10.) '69 sunburst Strat, rosewood fingerboard
11.) '74 black Strat, maple fingerboard
12.) nice Taylor acoustic

There was a fella introduced to R-T a while ago who builds custom Les Pauls. I'm ashamed to say that I don't recall his name. I just remember his product.. And his price tag. But yeah, that's the rout I'd love to go if I could swing it. Looks like he does absolutely BEAUTIFUL work.

His name is Tom Bartlett and he is a badass.

Money isn't really an issue when it comes to gear and I still prefer old ragged ass Marshall's and beat up guitars.
