I'm finding I have to sift through a ton of silliness to get to the good info on GAB. That place can be hilarious and definitely fits my 8th-grade-class-fieldtrip sense of humor, but I live in the middle of nowhere and usually have to buy-to-try...so I use the archived info on RT and TGP to make informed purchases. Maybe over time GAB will be more useful to me.
 
Hell, I'm just amazed (honored, thrilled, surprised, shocked, astounded, etc) to be part of the LA Dream Team. LOL Frankly I didn't find that out until two days ago when I read that thread. :thumbsup:

In all seriousness, I have to laugh at some of the comments. Lumping Luxxtone into the "LA Dream Team" group? Do they realize that Shark Diver (aka Dave) is one of the partners? And WTF, Jerry Bizon is one of the nicest guys on the planet with great luthier skills. I use him exclusively now. What did he do wrong?

I'm not sure when all this "ass slapping/pimping" barzini talks about occurred either. I guess that he's seen it somewhere, but I haven't been to every forum on the net. Maybe the youtube Al Pacino "Cruising" forum has a thread on it, and the followers are moving to LA for new "cruising" grounds instead of New York. Go ahead Joe, lead the charge, I'm sure West Hollywood needs and wants you!

I don't know if they realize it yet, but I think Billy (the admin) is getting more than a little sick of their thread derailment, judging by his posts to get the thread back on track. But as soon as he tries, good old Joe/donbarzini is there to take it off again. Of course he has help, but WTF, did he have to respond? How many times in the same thread can you derail it, then say "Ok, back on topic..", then derail it three posts later, and expect the mods to not look at you funny? (Not to mention their members or any RT members thinking of joining.)

I'm not sure if that forum is there to discuss gear, or Brad/RT/The LA Dream Team or what? Do they have any other current threads there besides RT bashing?
But as I said before, entertaining read, especially the whole pack mentality of bagging on Brad, Dave/Rob, Dave/Jerry, James Lugo/me...for Christ's sake. I realize there are some doing "LOL" to comments they quote, so they can "fit in" and be accepted. Whatever. It might be time to think for yourselves, a lot of what I read there isn't true, or remotely close to being true.

But hey...I'm part of the LA Dream Team! Thanks don! ;)
