have pretty severe pain on the inside of my L. Knee.

called all around town for orthos.

its impossible to get anyone on the phone. all AI.
press this press, press that, pls hold, click, disconnected. this sucks bad
then finally get one and appointments are 6 weeks out. then after all that they dont take my plan
i remember the days doctors made house calls

so i thought Id outsmart them and went to the ER today. all they were able to do is take xrays, wrap it and give me some candy to drink.
they cant do MRIs or Cats unless I'm admitted and this wasn't serious enough to be admitted. so they sent me home

what im going to do now is milk it up Dan style.
I'm going back crawling and crying and try to con my way into getting admitted so they can run the proper tests

Just had a schedule D minor surgery. 30 minute procedure.

The non profit hospital owned surgery center billed my insurance $60k.

I’m out of pocket $7500 for the deductible.

And we wonder why it’s all fucked up. It’s all a big grift just like everything else the government gets its hands on.

I'm starting to wonder if universal healthcare would be better. I dunno....the government spends so much fucking money on medicaid and medicare already, if those were eliminated and then all the private health care companies were axed, seems like things would be in better shape with money freed up?
IDK. Shit is so fucked. Private insurance is the reason why everything is fucked....they conspire with hospitals and doctors unions to rape people. Average salary of a physician in 1962 was 110k adjusted for inflation, now it's 450k.
Look at pets, no one had pet insurance 20 years ago. Getting something done to your dog or cat was NBD. Now everyone has pet insurance and the cost of simple procedures or treatments is insane.

Two of my best buddies are confused liberals. We’ve found common ground recently.

It’s given me hope that sanity will eventually prevail. At the core, being honest with one another is damn important.

It's because he never has a solid base for his stance or rebuttal and is unable to support his arguments. It's all based on emotions so the best he can muster is slapping the laugh emoji on posts he doesn't agree with; presumably laughing at the poster.

I have my doubts that he'll respond to your post. You'll probably just get the laugh emoji on it too. Maybe he'll decide to try to prove me wrong and actually provide a response.

Go down to Cabo and go ONLY where the MEXICANS go and not the gringos. To see a GP the cost is 70 pesos ($5.75 USD) and yes, most Mexican doctors are trained in the US.
