Cmon man..the real name of the band was always "Roth"..but the damn record company made them change it.
Didn't you know that?

Guy had his hay day.
I remember reading several years ago when Sammy joined the band that Roth was training to be a EMT.
Had pics of him training.

I wouldnt doubt he had production ideas for that album... the guy is a creative person. I think the media is hyping it a little bit too to create "controversy".

Hey he`s a crazy guy. He did own the p.a. lol. His family also funded the first maybe second tour and also paid for the first album. Warner bros just pressed it and released and promoted it. hey VH brothers didn't have much at that time. That`s how they made a lot of money just like AC/DC so big they told record company how things were going to be not vice versa. Ah the hey day of RNR

I agree. And by "structured" I think he implies placement in the song for a solo break, or no solo at all. I read way back that Roth lobbied hard not to have a solo in Dance the Night Away because he wanted the song to have mainstream appeal.
