And that jackhammer of a picking hand!
For sho'!
In my 70's/80's hard rock/metal cover band we play 'Madhouse' and I found to convey it properly you really have to go the extra mile with your picking hand, to lock it in place better, play the staccato riffs tighter etc. to get that powerful chunk. Other songs from that era that we cover are typically played much looser.
(No Testament or Megadeth in our set, sorry. )

State of euphoria is one of my fav cassettes from when I was 15. Listen to persistence of time often while working out. Hard to beat a boosted JCM800.
I’m listening to STATE now . Antisocial tone is amazing as well

This is a great set from the State Of Euphoria-era where the band performed under the pseudonymous "Satan's Lounge Band" name at L'Amour's, circa 1989:

Fucking-A!!! That's one that I enjoy now more than when it first came out and there's some great stuff on that album -In my World, Time...Caught that tour on their stop in Houston on the Clash Of The Titans tour - only other time I've seen them was opening for Ozzy on the SoE tour but each time they were great live.

His tone got way darker on it . Dud he add the boogie for rhythm on it POT ? it sounds less Marshall on it

didn't their wicker mark III die in a studio fire?

(19:24 into the video.)

Man POT sure sounds like he used a boogie for rhythms on it . It’s not his usually Marshall sound at all . It sounds closer to master of puppets tone then anthrax

Hell yeah one of favorites! ATL is a classic! My favorite album from them has to be POT. That was the shit back in the day! Now that I just got a bass, I want to learn how to play intro to reality.

I’m on that one now
