Motley Crue is a Hair Band from the 80's. That was 40 years ago. If you're going to see them LIVE now you're going for the experience. You love the music and the songs and you want to hear them as they where done back in the day. Youre going because you want to have fun.

Vince Neil is 65 and he cant deliver anymore so they use tape or digital or autotune Its a big business and those concerts make lots of money. Everyone wins except the negative nelly's.

I am a fan of Motley Crue's first album and even like a lot of their second album. Not a fan of Vince Neil. Met him a few times. He's a chump. They haven't made anything since SATD that I'm interested in. I like Mars riffs generally. And I like that song Tommy Lee did Hold Me Down. Not a chance I would pay to go see them though.

For some context, I saw Elton John when he was 68 & still putting on a phenomenal show. He voice was starting to go at that point, he couldn’t hit the high notes quite like he used to.

They changed up the arrangement on those parts, had him harmonize with backup singers, and did some other clever things to cover for it. Honestly, it didn’t detract from the show a bit. You could tell the whole band (all of whom played great and had a killer live mix) was still all in, when it came to putting on a show worth watching.

There's a difference between "slowing down a little" and "not even singing or playing anymore" I think it's quite obvious

He wasn't good or skilled at all (as far as 80s metal goes) for a singer but he at least tried to sing back in the day

He stopped singing or even trying sometime in the 90s and it's ridiculous that crue fans accept this crap - it's honestly insulting

Yeah it'd be great if Tommy could get back to making high quality rap music again. At this point I have no doubt that one of techdeth's most cherished albums was by methods of mayhem.
