It's always the same logical fallacies, which is how you know deep down they KNOW it's indefensible
It's sad, i'm not a hair metal guy but I can appreciate the energy and vibe of the early crue shit or the production of the later "kickstart my heart" type stuff (even on kickstart, that is famously a MIDI bass playing the bass line btw)
It isn't that I inherently hate MC or this style of music, it's that this is morally disgusting and they aren't even putting in the effort to play a real show for their diehard fans

It's definitely indefensible but I had retards telling me that kinda crap about vanilla ice back in the 90's.
Phoning it in has seemed to be the standard operating procedure for what counts as classic rock for almost three decades now. It's easy money for guys who were never very good to begin with so I suppose it helps them uphold their lifestyle addictions. I'd rather not gig even on the local level if I'm not trying to put my best foot forward with every performance but I guess I have standards which are lost on most people. Tbh most people know even less about music now than they did 30 years ago so morons will go watch that crap and tell their friends what a killer show vince put on.
