That looks awesome. What kind of paint/process did you use??

Actually it's not stain at all. The decking is closed cell PVC. The pillars are actually part of a pergola. Here's some deck porn for those that are into that sort of thing. I Built it a few years ago.

I don't have a spray booth but I have a pretty nice setup in my garage. I did collision repair and painted cars for 20 years and always did side jobs at my house, Spray equipment, I use a Sata RP with a 1.3 tip and have a 60 gallon compressor.
I used a polyester base coat with urethane clear (automotive). I don't have any pics of the process because I just wanted to get it sprayed because the weather is changing quick here.

Awesome
It looks like Chevy/Pontiac Sunset Orange Metallic

Thanks.

I only deal with mostly Vette's it is SOM to me, They dont like it when you call their exclusive paint color a standard model color

Thanks for sharing, the guitar is just stunning. you did an excellent job on the hand rails and also the deck too - the fact that it is PVC makes it even better - absolutely zero maintenance. Again nice job, thanks for sharing, nice house too

WTF are you doing with a studio LP when you dumped HUGE coin into those railings and plastic decking??

DEcking like that needs a Collins or Jol era Hamer Monaco on it!

I sold my Les Paul Standard AAA+ to buy the hot tub. Then bought the Studio off craigslist.
