What do you use for lightweight grab and go practice amp?

Really? That's just overkill. I've played venues that couldn't fit all that! I mean, an 18 space rack? Ditch that thing and just make your pedalboard bigger. There's no need for a rack these days.

Yes, really.

No, it's not overkill at all. It's a pared down w/d/w setup with a Larry, and you would fucking cum your pants if you heard it love.

The rack has only a bbe, Fryette power station used as a power amp, and storage for all the cords and the pedalboard.

It's actually much more convenient than a giant fucking TGP retard pedalboard.

You just don’t use the phrase “grab’n’go” in these here parts. Friendly warning…
Unless your talking about grabbing deez nuts :ROFLMAO:

Smallest I'll leave with is either an MC25 head or SLO30 and a Wizard 1x12 cab

That's probably what I'd do. My SLO30 and my Mojotone Canyon 1x12 with a neo Creamback. I do have a Quiter Microblock45 and a few Friedman pedals so I'm going to build a small board around them for the same purpose. I also have a DSL20CR if I'm really lazy. Hmmm, I think I have too much shit.......

Yep, and its nice to know you could take that same SLO30 to any gig with a 2x12 or 4x12 and freaking peal the paint off the ceiling. Its a great amp that can punch waaaaay above its weight class if needed, but does the low volume thing killer too.

Don't laugh, but I had a Blackstar HT5 watt 1x12 combo that I upgraded the speaker in and it was a fun little amp. Just threw a boost pedal in my guitar case, and that thing was beyond good enough. It sounded killer, actually. Don't ask me why, but their 5 watters were the best sounding of the bunch. Had the head too, loved it!

I had an HT5 head that sounded great through my 2x12 with and MXR 10 band in the loop. Was a lot of fun.

Yeah, I ran the head into a 4x12 and an MXR 10-band in the loop. It hits a sweet spot at about 10 o'clock on the volume and I played that damn thing for hours. It nailed just about anything you wanted, from AC/DC to Overkill. Great loop too!

Now I want one again ?

I bring a Bluguitar Amp1 with a 1x12. Great sounding and loud if needed.

I have one of the Katana MK2 heads and a bogner cube. Works and sounds great!

Agreed. I had an HT-5 head going into a 4x12 and it sounded way better than I ever thought it would.

Then I sold them both.

Don't count out the old USA built Peavey Classic 30's either. Takes a boost well, and does a great Marshall impersonation.

I had the 50 watt 2x12 as well. Great, great amps.
