Taylor 524 CE - All Mahogany. Best acoustic I've ever owned. Blows my J45 custom away.

I played one of these a few months ago and was blown away. It will definitely be my next acoustic.

Just bought a cheap Seagull...blew me away.... REALLY great sounding guitars!

For the .0001% of my playing that involves an acoustic, an Ovation Legend and a Contreras student classical.

Mahogany Recording King 12 fret. The Chinese are capable of quality after all.

I Play a Taylor 214CE But have my eye on a new 814CE after the holidays.

You need to repair that deck jack.

About 13 or 14 years ago, I picked up a guitar from Schoenberg guitars in Tiburon. I had some cash on me around 500 or so. I was in town for a family visit. I always stopped by there because they have an amazing collection of acoustic guitars. The owner Eric Schoenberg is a great guitarist and store owner. They had in these new "budget" Martins at the time and he said they were great guitars/ I played one and it was absolutely great. It had action like I have never played on an acoustic, and it sounded so good I could not believe it. The list price was around $1000 I think? I loved this thing. I played it for at least 2 hours. Eventually Schoenberg asked me how much I had, and I told him about 500 bucks. He said, "its yours!" I thought I misunderstood him, but no, he gave me a great deal. Great guy to deal with and an AMZING acoustic selection. He also makes his own acoustics that are world class. Over the next couple years everyone who played the Martin was blown away. My brother played it non stop when ever he was around. So, I gave it to him this year as a gift and made his year. He was enormously thankful. I didn't think I would ever part with it. I am lucky to see my brother twice a year, he lives in China. So, I gave it to him. It was the Martin D1. It recorded great, played fantastic, and sounded really good. The only slight negative I would say is that maybe it was not quite as loud as other acoustics when jamming with other acoustics.

Tacoma JK50ce4. They were great before the Fender buy out.

Fender has NO business in the acoustic realm.
