Just spec'ed a neck and it was $533 LOL
But no 26.5 scale, only 25" or 28-5/8" so no go..
Damn..

ah sorry to hear that, would you be open to a luthier making you a custom neck? there are plenty of people around who could do that for you assuming you're ok with that route

I really liked the Headstock. I prefer Tuners on both sides..

I've ordered twice from Schecter: complete ground up custom orders (8-string Telecasters with Floyd Rose etc).

They were great. Asked questions to make sure they understood what I wanted. Actually tested some thing first before they agreed to do it (theyd never done some of the things I asked for).

Since these were complete one-offs, they hand cut everything (didn't have any CNC programming for it).

They'll do whatever you want as long as it doesn't infringe someone's trademark and it's physically feasible to actually do.
There's nothing I found on their crap site. How did you contact them??

Well that sucks. They just sent me a build sheet when I asked about a replacement neck a couple weeks ago.
That’s what I was told, please do your own due diligence, I don’t want to give you wrong info.

I went through Jason at Drum City Guitar Land. I don't think they sell direct. Most communications went through Jason but I think towards the end some of the Schecter guys reached out directly to confirm things.

ESP owns or is with Schecter, but ESP has an order form for customs.. But I hate ESP Headstocks LOL They suck..

i think the guy who owned ESP owned shecter but theyre still separate companies as far as i know...Drum City Guitar Land is a good dealer. I've never personally worked with them but have heard good things fwiw.

I dont dispute ESP headstocks being not great lol...especially if you're into the 3+3 layout lol.

Share your full specs once you get the form filled out, i'd be curious to see what all youre after!

I'd really like to talk to a builder or someone at the company that knows.. I'd like them to hold my hand as I ask questions because I don't know all the possibilities.
It's probably not worth their while unless the inquirer actually makes a buy. I might need to pay a Retainer.. LOL
The ESP has a tone of stuff I would need to research to make a decision.

Ok you’ve got some really knowledgeable people here…

I think you should pull up the ESP custom shop form as it’s quite detailed and just start choosing things you want

Post that spec sheet here and ask your questions. There’s at least 5 of us in this thread who have done numerous custom builds.

There’s even actual builders on this forum who could help you.

There is absolutely zero reason to pay a retainer just to plot the specs lololol

I wanted a hardtail HSS super strat for years but nobody I know of ever makes them. And when they finally do crank one out once every other blue moon, they always seem to be done in colors I have zero interest in.

I finally stopped waiting and spec’d out a Tom Anderson. It helped that I live around an Anderson dealer who always has a decent selection in stock so I got to put a lot of them in my hands and really get a feel for what to go for with the build. Neck profile, fret size, body type, etc.

Here it is. I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s exactly the hardtail HSS Strat I always wanted. The neck and frets are perfect, the body is just slightly smaller than a traditional strat which makes it feel more modern to me, and I even got it in a color Anderson has never done before, Firemist Silver. It’s basically almost the same as Inca Silver but where Inca Silver is very slightly warmer toned and almost has a “metallic sand” kind of thing going on, Firemist Silver has a bit more blue in it and looks slightly closer to something like brushed chrome.
