Just as long as Vince Young isn't throwing him the ball.
Shit, I forgot they even had him

I think it is safe to say that won't be happening barring an injury.

I can't believe Maualuga is still on the board. I was thinking the Rams would take him, but they went with Laurinaitis instead. Which of those guys do you see being the better NFL player?

Fuck, I hate being a Lions fan.

QB (2nd best on most boards, taken 1st overall - should have gone defense or OLINE!)
TE (OK, this might pan out...should have gone defense)
Safety? With a good MLB on the board? WTF!

Well, we'll be drafting in the top 3 next year too...

The only Lions pick I had a problem with was the last one. I agree they should have went with a linebacker instead. I personally don't think Stafford will be that good, but if they think he is, you have to take him.

Holy shit, Pat White has been drafted. White + Ronnie Brown = Wildcat domination

GO 'EERS!!!

The Pats always seem to take a bunch of guys that no one really knows or cares about, and then they turn out to be great players.

Good scouting.

The NFL draft is one of the few drafts where, with notable exceptions obviously, the first round talent isn't massively better than later rounds.

Wow, the Raiders just drafted a guy that ESPN didn't even have any game footage of.

I hope they don't win any games next year.

That is a tough call. Laurinaitis was supposed to be a high first round pick but kind of fell during his senior year. I actually think that is a good pick there though. Maualuga will probably be the better pro(USC just puts out good pros as much as I hate them) but Laurinaitis can still be a solid pick.

I'm just stoked it wasn't the Steelers

And damn the Patriots made some good moves. Bilidouche loves getting a ton of picks. Which works because he uses them so well.

The 49ers traded out of the second round which I don't usually like. A lot of good players are there in the second round. And they could have got Everett Brown from FSU who people were saying they were going to trade down to take in the first round. But they did get a first rounder from Carolina next year.

I was over at my sisters house watching the Draft on TSN(a Canadian channel) when it happened and it went to commercial with the 49ers on the clock and Brown at the top of the board, then it came back and said he was a Carolina Panther and I almost passed out from confusion  Lesson learned: Canadian draft coverage blows.

Do you have some sort of special attachment to Loadholt?

Not that there's anything wrong with that :scared:

I see the Rams took Bradley Fletcher at the beginning of the 3rd round. Not a good pick IMO. And I saw that ESPN gave him a grade of 32/100. I guess they saw something nobody else did

I've never heard of him, but you know I don't follow college football too closely. Remember that they have Justin King from Penn State too. They took him in the second round last year but he got hurt and didn't play any games. That should be a good addition this year too. I'm hoping they take a WR soon, but I don't know if any of them are any good at all.

There are still good WRs still on out there. There is usually 1 or 2 receivers taken in the later rounds that turn out to be steals. Quan Cosby could be a good slot receiver. They have been talking about him a lot just because he is friends with Bill Cosby simply because of their last name, but he is good. There is a guy from NDSU named Kole Heckendorf who I hope gets drafted. White receivers FTW

I can't believe no team wanted to give up a second round pick for Boldin. I mean honestly, he's one of the best receivers in the NFL and to be able to get him for a measly second round pick is insane.
