What a lucky kid! Which speakers you have in that Marshall cab? Is it a recent one or a vintage?

This sounds and feels to me. Wide open, tight, bright. Wouldn't want it any other way.

I love the attack on the Wiz. Its a fun amp to play. That's a great clip. Sounds awesome.
Surprisingly I liked the MC the most
I get great acdc tones out of mine but mine are higain heads so my settings would be odd compared to angusCan definitely hear the Wizard squeekiness in that video.
Do folks have go to ACDC settings for their Wizards?

I went down rabbit holes… apparently you aren’t alone! Have you seen the mod kit that’s out there? Seems temptingThese are my thoughts for quite some time.
I can't say that I have. Reality is I'm not the target market for a Wizard, especially financially, LOL, but I like listening to tube amp clips and every time I hear a modern classic it sounds amazing. The only other amp I've ever heard demo'ed here that sounded as good in a heavy context was some vintage modded Plexi but I can't recall who it belonged to. I actually miss-spoke. Not a mod kit but a build that tries to clone itWhat’s that?

I don’t know if ceriatone has any
On Load Hetfield was using a IIc++, Bob Rock's modded Marshall and a triaxis. Kirk was using dual rectifiers I believe?? The tone on Reload is a little brighter, there's a Wizard in the mix on that one.I couldn't really tell a difference in tone from Load to Reload. I'm not sure what James was using on Load (Mark IIC+? Dual Rectifier?). I know they used a lot of different amps on those albums, but I'm not sure what their primary amps were.
Is it just me, or that clip do nothing else for anyone else as well? I mean, it sounds great, but it sounds kind of flat and 2D to me, pointing to a recording issue rather than something wrong with the build.
Wondering if the only way to capture something like the Wizard is one of those 3D audio audio recorders from Zoom and stuff.
