I have Winged C's in the amp right now, but I'm going to experiment a bit in the power section too. I actually tend to like JJ's in punchy Marshally amps (they're in my Splawn) but I have to say I think the EH EL34's in my PT100 are a massive improvement over the JJ's for the that amp. Cleared up a bit of congestion and tightened it up.

We're all different of course, but I actually preferred the stock JJE34L to the real deal =C= it tried in the MCII. The =C= were nice but they smoothed and compressed the tone a bit. There was more attack with the 34Ls, especially in the lows. Best way I can put it: =C= were creamy/smeared where the E34Ls were sharp/more defined.
I was running and loving my SED =C= for many years. Got them from Laura before the big price increase. Then PDC recommended me some JJ EL34 II's. I got them from Eurotubes perfectly matched. I asked for 34mA and that is exactly what I got and I'm really digging these tubes. Probably similar to the 34Ls. Obviously not as expensive as winged Cs so I'm pretty happy. Also just got some reissue Mullards so curious on those as well.

I’ve only tried the JJ EL34 II’s in one amp, but I really liked them. I totally expected my =C= to replace them, but the II’s went back in shortly. The II’s have a harder attack with more clarity, which held together as the volume went up. With anything it may just depend on the amp, but my experience with the II was positive as well.

Thanks! Not intentionally Killswitch inspired, though I do like those guys a lot.

I'm really psyched to pair it with the Splawn as well. I think they'll compliment each other really well. I'm working on a record right now where I used the Splawn for 99% of the dirty rhythm stuff, but I have DI's for all of it. I'll likely reamp through the Wizard and blend them together. I'll post some clips when it's done.

I'll also likely put together a quick comparison video of the Splawn, the Wizard and my PT100. Just a few different flavors of Marshall inspired goodness.
Really looking forward to this

Please make sure I see it will ya
