You prefer way to run modeling amp

I run my Fractal through a matrix power amp out to a pair of Bogner Cubes with Celestion Alnico creams.

Run through a tube power amp and a 4x12. Modeling is good for modeling, not amplifying.

I believe what I played through Saturday night was a Helix into power amp through 412 Marshall cab setup. It sounded great. Thinking about going this route.

I'm ignorant as the day is long about this shit. The FRFR is for you to hear, right? Not the audience? Like a monitor?

correct. the FRFR acts like a monitor just for you to hear on stage. there's a bunch of ways to rig it up, but in short, it's just a full range powered speaker that will let you hear on stage outside of the normal monitors that the rest of the band is mixed in.
