Seymour Duncan SH-2n for humbucker. DiMarzio HS-2 or DiMarzio Heavy Blues - DP403 (Not the Heavy Blues 2 - DP409)

BKP Emerald....Duncan Original Parallel Axis...Dimarzio Illuminator.

Absolute favorite is the Dimarzio Twang King

As far as humbuckers go, probably the good ole Duncan '59

P90 or P90 hot
Super D, Yes a super D. nooooo mud

many 70s guitars came stock with 2 of them

nothing else sounded right to me

I like the SD Alnico II Pro in the neck, wired for coil splitting. For me it's the perfect complement to a JB in the bridge.

I threw a Dimarzio Breed into my Ibanez S series Prestige, and it is OK, not blowing me away.

I have a JB in bridge and it is awesome!

So looking for a new neck pickup.

What do you use and endorse?
Don't be afraid to try a JB in the neck as well! Steve Stevens used to do this; tried it myself and have been sold ever since.

I too favor the Alnico II Pro. I run the bridge version in the neck with a high output bridge

All Paf syle around 7K / 7.5k A2 works for me .
Cheap : Tonerider Classic or A4
Priced : SD Seth Lover or Antiquity

Agree with the last two posts.
The 59 goes with the JB and the Phat Cat compliments it pretty well, too.
Have had that latter setup a couple of times in Gibsons, not sure about a sabre, though.

Duncan: Pearly Gates neck and Screamin' Demon
DiMarzio: DP103 36th Anniv PAF, Air Norton and Breed neck, but...the Breed neck needs to be in the right guitar.
In my Charvel So Cal it was so so, a bit too jangly up top (alder body, maple neck, bolt on neck and Floyd Rose probably all added to that) but in my Gibson 67 RI Flying V (all mahogany with ebony fb) it's friggin' perfection.
