Im looking for this type of tone - with more bottom end.

Eric has been using a mark IV for god knows how long and that is about it.
El hefe uses a Mark III I think.

i like the original rev 1's lead channel more than the rev 1+'s tonally.

I put Ruby 6L6GCMSTR biased a little hotter and was blown away. The stock Sovtek 5881 suck ... yea ... blah blah ..Soldano's come stock with them ... doesn't mean they still don't suck. Also put a GT12AX7M in the V1 and a GT12AX7R in the V3 which Im like'n, though might just replace the V3 with another Penta Labs. Shit, just remembered I was talking to someone about cryo Ruby 12AX7's I need to check my PM's.
