Hey guys,

Here is the short backing track (it gives you about 40 seconds to solo over)
http://snd.sc/VG1iNp

Its 190bpm and in Standard E tuning

You have 2 options with this - either record your own solo track over it and re-upload it in this tread as your own piece - OR - send me your "solo only" track and I'll mix it all into 1 song !!
You can upload your tracks here:
http://www.filefactory.com/filebox/silentundergroundstudio

the password is:-
silentupload

There is a small intro riff that goes for 4 bars - Please start your solo AFTER that riff and finish your solo when it comes around again at the end of the backing track!!

NOTES:
If you set your DAW to 190bpm and align the backing track to the very start of your project window there should be a short 1 bar silence before the intro starts and then the rest should be perfectly aligned and in time -

When you're ready to export your "solo only" track - PLEASE export the entire length of the clip - From the very start of the track to the very end of the track - this will make alignment a breeze for me when I mix all the takes together !!

Thanks guys,

Please email me at silentundergroundstudio@hotmail.com if you have ANY dramas.

Daniel ~

Sounds good and can't wait to hear what you guys come up with, its too quick for my slow fingers....

Gnarly, Reza. I was feeling some Megadeth in there and you were right on that flavor. Tasty.

Listened last night, but too late to do a take. Probably try tonight and see if i can put something cool over it!

Awesome backing track Daniel! Thanks for doing this.

I'll try and throw down over this track at the weekend!

that rhythm sounds like it's from and justice for all. haha. all the jams so far are pretty sweet!

Thanks for all the complements, guys. Rezamatix did a cool job, too, so be sure to check his out. I actually just realized Rezamatix made his own backing track in another thread to jam over, so maybe I'll do that one when I get some time. Kinda busy recording an album at the moment, but I decided to do this jam track real quick for a change of pace.

I'm not really into shreddin' lately because I think it gets old fast, so I'm kinda' out of my wheel house on this one.

Mark V on Mark IV.
