Nah bro ... in most places I've been it's a lot rarer to see extremism in either form.
Also if you agree on one topic it doesn't mean you are always going full retard on all topics.

For example you'll never hear anything like "libtard" or "conservawhatever" anywhere else. You might hear stuff like SJW from time to time.
Also in most places almost nobody would ever defend half naked grown ass men dressed like a woman doing splits in front of 3 years olds ...

Tbh in most places people don't even identify with a political party. In most places there are many political parties... and it would sound weird to identify as a part of it unless you are an active member - which is a real duty, like a part time job - i.e. not pretending to be the defender of "discriminated" groups on forums.

Can't say I have any of that experience.
