Sounds great man. I like that you keep the tweaks to a minimum tonally so that it adds what it needs without adding what shouldn’t be added and going overboard with fixes that neuter them. It’s a fine line I’m walking myself.
Thank you!
I've always looked at it this way when it comes to modded amps. (less is more)
These old Marshall Super Leads don't need much as they are already awesome straight outta the box. :)

Mike, have you ever messed around with a Peavey VTM60?

Because I have one of those and the clips of your work always blow me away
To be honest, I have never been inside one of those before.
I'm not sure if it's doable.

I checked out your channel. Your Saga cover was spot on!!

What model Ibanez RG is that?
You're very kind, thank you.
The guitar I'm using in the Saga video is a Ibanez RG 270 DX with a DiMarzio AT-1 in the bridge position.

All of your mods sound great Mike... but this one sounds amazing in all the right plexi places..... I guess thats the mojo factor from amp to amp.

Gainy, chunky, growly yet still retains carity.:2thumbsup:
It's funny story but right after I modded this amp and started playing it my wife popped her head into the room and said "that amp head is a keeper" :)

Sounds terrific. If I still lived in Etobicoke I’d be bringing you a 4 holer to mod for sure! Love the chunk you’re getting but not robo-gain like a good amp should sound. Still sounds like it’s breathing.

Thank you my friend.
She has a great ear when it comes to guitar tone and she's honest when the sound is shitty.

Had to log in to say holy shit, the thump and clarity of muted strings. What our your thoughts from the HW and the SLP for this mod?

Thank you for logging in and commenting.
I don't find much difference sound wise between the HW and SLP with my Plexi R/T mod.
Both are the prefect platform for my mods.

Sounds really good. Great job.

I've contemplated putting the PI fizz cap on a switch before. Really changes the character from vintage to more compressed and modern going from 47pf to 100 or more... This is a also a great area to tune the circuit by ear with values in-between.

I appreciate the kind words.
I just started installing the PI fizz cap switch in my builds and really like what I'm hearing.
I like 94pF best so far.
