A truthful answer about 100 watt heads

Its funny. Most of us metal guys just understand headroom. But some of these guys can describe it so sweetly. Makes my dick hard. 100 watts+ or fuck your mother. If you dont get it, get out. I am a redneck, paint peeling, house shaking, palm muting motherfucker from the depths of a darkness so dark it makes satan scared. If your palm mutes dont feel like they are challenging god for control of the universe, you are doing it wrong.

I have on occasion - usually on outdoor stages. At the time the lead player had a JCM 900 half stack, the bass went through a Peavey Mark VI into 2 X15 and a 2X12 cab (400 watts or so) and the drummer played an old Ludwig mahogony kit with 11 toms and none of the drums had bottoms - they left the factory without any provision to put bottom heads on. It was loud, so I had a Fender M-80 stereo chorus head (2 X 65 watts) pretty much dimed into a Peavey 412MS to keep up. (Had to play with ear plugs in ....)
