Right now Im thinking that Cliff would rather punch me in the face then send me an axe-fx demo................I kid.... I kid!!!

It wouldnt hurt though because it would be a digital punch and not a real tube punch. Sorry couldt resist and Cliff Im just kidding and having fun.

I would love to see/hear a report from you after playing an Axe-Fx, I know you would honest about it sans the infomercial shtick

Naw I aint the one Tom, I dont have the experience that others do in regards to really ringing that device. I have an ok ear now for delays and verbs and the feel of some amps but yeah I would be able to say better than the PODXT Pro I have or not.

I dont have the knowledge right now to really dive into that box other than finding presets that I dig and the effects

I'm glad all these axe-fx threads have popped up here and at TGP. I get to read all about why everybody else loves it or hates it while mine sits at the bottom of a pile in a UPS depot somewhere for the next week. Reading about it is so much more fun than actually using it.

The drinking is tied to the Country gig. It's always the same with me and workin bands, after about 3 month of doing it I can't stand doin it sober. This time it was really over board since we did like 30 som gis the last two month. There ar 2 more gigs that have signed contracts and I'm telling them in the next few days I can't do that hang anymore.

I had a blast playing the gigs. But it was beginning to affect other areas too much. In other words I really want to pursue my own stuff right now over being a juke box doing stuff I have no emotional attachment to.
