Finally got my pedals from Airis. Canada Post sucks! LOL! Took a full 10 days to get the pedals. I was checking the tracking like a junky.

At any rate, extremely pleased with both the Doomsday Delay and The Savage. It was late when I got to plug them in so I didn't get to push any volume, but from what I can tell, these two will be keepers.

Good call Mr. Braintheory!

Sweet man, glad you like.

checking them out, had never heard of them...sounds cool, youtube clips are cool...gas gas gas

I am in the market for a delay but am new to them.

Was going to get the Flashback since I have the HOF and am happy with it.

The Airis Delay seems a lot more $$$ what separates it from other delays or makes it better?

Awesome. I went the other way, and just traded one of my marshAlls for a triple rec; but will probably go down that boost rabbit hole again sometime. I only have 3 or 4 right now.....

The Savage Drive is a cool pedal... and sounds great with a Triple Recto. I like mine.

Initial finding for me is it works great under high gain. I had a flashback and it didn't tickle my fancy so it didn't hang around long. That and I'm a minimalist, 3 knobs on the Doomsday. Easy to dial in and how can I not love something called a Doomsday Delay?

My schedule is jacked this week but I hope to experiment/compare it to a few other delays I have tomorrow night, if I'm lucky.

That's good to know honestly. I'll only be using it for some half assed leads and acoustics/intros. If the Flashback sucks with high gain maybe it's not for me.

I've had the savage drive and still have like 10 more overdrives including the koko.....To me the savage is very well built but the sound is too "clean" or robotic in a way, perhaps i'm more used to traditional overdrives. I prefer the Koko 10 times out of 10 in this case. Try both at 18 volt and decide

The Savage definitely is very clean and adds great attack and articulation. I guess I could see it seeming robotic if you don't need lots of tightness or attack for what they're playing. The Koko boost is very different and doesn't really make things tighter or add the attack like the savage. I also have 11 other overdrives (although I'm trying to sell 3 or 4 of them), and my favorites when going for a more traditional overdrive (where I don't need the most tightness and focus) would be my Thorpy Gunshot, Jetter Gold, Airis Solar Flare, and Maxon TBO-9. Between the Thorpy Gunshot and Savage, I have at least 95% of my overdrive pedal needs covered

Yeah it might be a great option if you play some of the more modern stuff.....my personal faves are koko, bodenhamer bloody murder and the mesa grid slammer, but I prefer a slightly dirtier sound, nothing too modern or surgical

I'm not familiar with the Bodenhamer. I'm surprised though you like the grid slammer so much. I used to own and didn't find it that special and to me that would be a pedal I could see some finding too hi-fi or clean, which is why I'm surprised it works for you.

Love the Koko, want to try the Bloody Murder but good luck there :p

A guy on here has one but I can't pay what he wants so I will never have one most likely. I would say the koko adds grit and maybe a little gain.

When I hear "tighter" and OD in the same context I think of the mid hump/low cut like the 808 and that is one reason I like the Koko. It does not do that. I keep all my bass and just boost the mids and give it some grit. Perfect.

I do want to try some others tho...

OK, you all got my gas up, pulled the trigger on a Airis Savage....will give some thoughts after trying it out.
