Almost bought an antiqued guitar...

I was really close to buying a heavily antiqued guitar and for once I have to say wifey was right about my guitar purchasing choice. When she saw the guitar I wanted to by she said "your going to pay more for a guitar look like that when you could just leave it with our dog for 2 hours, if you want your guitar to look like that just play it more." This is not a diss to people who buy aged guitars, but i just thought it was cool as hell. Guitars are meant to be played not cleaned, pampered and stored. So I ended up grabbing a new suhr modern, first suhr ever, but ill be sure to beat the living fucking piss out of it in the next few years. Flame on all if you may!

Yes...buy a new,very pretty guitar and beat it to death. My fave is my first custom shop job That i paid a lot of money for,and waited a long time for it to get made. Now she looks great from 5 feet away,but once you are close the battle wounds are obvious. She seems to love the abuse,because she never lets me down.
