Back on topic...
The moon landing was real.
The earth is a sphere (well, slightly oblong).
Satellites are real. So is the space station.
People exit Earth's atmosphere regularly.
Just sayin.

What leads you to believe this?
Because the first use of the word "space" to describe the region we are discussing was used by a writer of fiction, in a fictional work. It wasn't even in common usage until the 20th century when it was used by another author who wrote science fiction books. So the entire term is one of completely fictional origin i.e it's not a real thing.

So you would also say that robots are fake, because Isaac Asimov invented the term?
This is a silly argument man. Just because someone imagined something, and then gave it a name, doesn't mean that it might not eventually be discovered or invented in reality.

Except unlike robots, there was already a term in place to describe it; "the heavens". So it's a false equivalency. One is a new invention that required a descriptive name, the other is a literary invention used in works of fiction.

Whatever word you use for it doesn't change the fact that it exists and people have been there.

Inbred Beta Phoney Iommi (Blue Dot Coward In TX) is one fat ugly mofo. Pictures coming soon. :ROFLMAO:

Ok bro. Whatever you say. (Slowly backing away)
No offense intended but like the usual space/moon landing/globe earth believer it seems like you don't really understand the specific nature and background of what we are discussing. Ask yourself, if a moon landing happened under agent orange, and his face/voice was splashed all over the news bragging about it, would you still believe it? If Musk sent men to Mars, would you believe his claims he had accomplished the feat?

The above isn't actually true.

I say this as when I pick up some strange occasionally and we get back to the stabbin' cabin women gasp "Jesus" "Christ" "Oh My God" not with THAT you don't.

So, as you can see it's not always used as a curse word but used as a word in place of fear when I'm involved. 😉

It amazes me that anyone believes that we actually "landed on the moon". It's a great way to launder cash for black ops programs though.

I guess with enough Star Trek and Buck Rogers propaganda broadcast for long enough on the tv set people will believe anything.
The tough part was getting 100s of people involved sworn to silence.

NDA's kept them quiet, just like the manhattan project. Pretty sure the n00ks are fake too otherwise someone would've used one by now. Keeps the public at large in line tho.
So why are we bombing Iran? Or should I ask, do you believe we are bombing Iran or is that a hoax too?
