Oddly enough the new purple channel on the 104BV does a two rock kind of overdrive. You’ve gotta tweak the EQ pretty radically, and I don’t crank the gain up very far but It’s there. Actually a really cool channel that i didn’t expect.

I totally agree. The purple channel kills at the Dumble style tones as well as it can do the Sayce or Scott Henderson Dog Party tones or lots more. The Purple channel is a treasure trove and as far as versatile channels, it is crazy what you can get from it.
