how about the Diezel?

hmmm how about Laney ? or an Ampeg? those ampegs sound fucking brutal...

Played a Herbert last month, killer amp, would like some more time with one, would like to try the VH4 as well....

not a big fan of Laneys, some killer tones, but eh.... The Ampeg VH140C is a KILLER amp, but I prefer my Randall to it all day long.

anything by Baron that interests ya?

Haven't heard enough clips.... I'll check 'em out

One other amp that does intrgue me is the Dar FBM. :D

oh I just remembered, try and get a Mesa DC-5....I've always found COC tone is AMAZING

Sell it and get 4-5 Mesa's

Give it a few day then sit down with it and dial it in with your eyes closed. If that doesn't work then post it.

I liked it, was a cool amp for sure, just wasn't the TOV.....

I have a 3 channel Recto coming soon, hoping I can mod it or find the right settings to get it close to this:

Nothing like trying to fight against the truth, if its not for you its not for you. At least you can come to terms to it and have a good ear for what you like - some people even struggle with that. I also believe someone will eventually profile the cameron ccv and atomica, its only a matter of time. I'd off it for what you have invested, invest in what you know brings the brutal, and put the rest into a recording setup you wanted/kemper down the road.

PS that first tremoverb vid is just nasty

seems to be what may be going to happen....

with having a Recto already on the way, I think a JVM would be a nice addition, the 2 combined I bet would sound HUGE.

Not for long. It goes into the closet of shame and I get another one out or buy something else. No use beating a dead horse if it isn't working for you.

Steve

Get ya a 5150 or a 6505

Have you played a JVM? My buddy had one for a couple years and that amps sounded like crud  Noisy, sterile piece of crap imo...I just hated that amp

Ever play any Splawn stuff?? Bargain amps that sound great for sure  Get a matching 4x12 with sb's and theyre better yet

Don't despair, Happened to me too.
Bought a Brand New CCV, just fought the thing
straight from the start!! Replaced the Pre-Amp
Tubes with Ruby HG+'s, Helped out some but
still not where I thought it should be for me.
Got tired of Smashing my head off the wall
saying, "This should be it for me, can't believe it's not"!!!
I just had to come to reality and face facts, I just
wasn't Gelling with the CCV. So I sold my Brand New amp
and ended up going back to Suhr's Custom Audio Line
and bought a PT-100 and SE+ and that was the Golden
Ticket I have been searching for!!
The Cameron Amp line is as Top Notch as you get,
It's just whether you can Gel with the Voicing or not.
I don't think you'll have a hard time selling such a Quality
amp, Hope you end up Satisfied.

Yeah, I think you already know what to do.
As much as it sucks, your smart enough to know what works for you & head back down that road.

Your Mako clips sounded killer btw

Pickups. Try some passives!

and oh yeah get a Fortin NATAS. That amp sounds like it would fit your style perfectly.

Tried duncans & Anderson, would love to try a natas or meathead.

I do not think the Meathead would be your amp, as much as I want to be a rara fanboi of MIke's

Now the Natas, you should hear the thrash tones from it let alone the uber heavy stuff
