The worst is: mint condition, but it had a headstock repair 10 years ago.

that's the WORST!!!! the guy that has a mint piece of gear, "BUT" it had this issue, or that problem, but a headstock repair takes that to another level altogether, stage 10 lunacy!!!

I gotta be honest I would NEVER buy a Gibson with a headstock repair. I don't care how long ago or how well it was fixed, unless it was a QUARTER the price of an equivalent used one. Fuck that.

There's a guy in SF bay that has Ace Frehley LP for sale for $4500. that has a head stock repair.. Every time I see the ad I just laugh.
Barely a mention of it in the ad, but clearly visible in the pic.

Class A douchebag idiot.

"Classic Gibson Neck Break" that's all, no biggie. It's not broken in until you snap the headstock off at least once, c'mon man, give me a break.

Not for me. Headstock break... I'll pass.

I see 2 things almost daily that get on my nerves.

One is where people post daily for years, but never lower the price. There is a local guy here that posts about 25 things literally EVERY DAY around 9 am without missing a day. They are mostly lower tier companies or items and though not super high priced, they are still too high priced for what they are. Nothing sells so he just keeps posting away every single day wasting his time.

Another thing is people posting an item like 5 times in a row thinking that more people seeing it will make their overpriced items sell. Making more posts does not make an overpriced item more desirable lol. It seems to usually be people with really common junk that no one wants, or really overpriced gear that can be had regularly for like 30%-40% less than they are asking.

I always assume the crazy prices are due to a guy not wanting to sell what he has and posts the ad only to show his wife "I've had it up here but it's not getting any biters. I'm going to lose money if I sell it for less than this.".

The Musicians ads down here are the real winners. The usual, generic musician ads and 10-15 guys posting their thoughts on the scene, telling everyone they're hacks who can't cut it.
