Whatever Ive made my point and I stand by basic maths and just being on the safe side..... Others want to push their gear to the brink, they are comfortable with it, it makes them happy what can I say.

If you play so quiet that a recording picks up your picking of the strings over the amplifier, Idgaf what the speaker rating is, you are safe.
I found a random youtube video to illustrate this. I know the playing is kind of bad and you cant really hear any articulation because the goof ball doesn't know how to dial in an amp...or maybe he thinks this is what high gain is.
