It is illegal to claim an 80w speaker cabinet is 100w :dunno:

I don't care what the Celestion spec sheet says. It is a known fact in the industry that the EVH speakers are 25 watts. Period.

Sounds like our girl. She never fully admits when she is wrong. And then forgets about the whole thing the next day. It is a ridiculous cycle

Yes they say the cab is 100 watts but again this is from their own website......

This is the inside of the cab..... Again from their own website. A "100 Watt" cab 412 loaded with four 20 Watt EVH Greenbacks not 25 Watt Chinese RI Greenbacks.

Nvm that or the spec sheet from Celestions website as well...

And the 20 watts listed on the spec sheet and speaker sticker were already fully proven and confirmed to be incorrect. If you have any dignity left, just let it go and shut the fuck up.

Okay by who...... Forum/Internet Myths and Rumors..... Artificial Intelligence BS and other crap that have no real legal binding or testing done to prove so like actual spec sheets and labels.....

Okay sure then and Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy are real too I figure right under that same logic :dunno:

No, that's what you're working on; "internet wisdom". Direct evidence from Fender and Celestion has been provided.

On a good note, it looks like you're at the bargaining stage of grief. Only two more stages to go to get to acceptance of being wrong.

Yes direct evidence was provided here by me to show the contrary....... Pictures from their own website and spec sheets as well showing the actual wattage of said speakers. Anyone can go to Celestions website or EVH/Fenders site to be aware of the actual wattage of the EVH Speakers....

Don't take my word for it or other dudes here..... Go see for yourself.

You welcome.

There is no way 4 20w speakers add up to 100w and that's on Fender. And as previously stated, they are 20w speakers. If they were 25w speakers Celestion would sell them as such to avoid exactly this discussion.

Fender is adding 5w per speaker because marketing likes numbers that are big and round.

I'm certainly not going to your word as you have no idea what they're talking about; which is painfully obvious. I will take the word of Celestion representatives who have confirmed in writing the G12EVH are indeed 25 watts power handling and what is listed on their website spec sheet is for historic representation.

Right on well as said you go on and do that..... As said none of that is actually verifiable in any way and it's just he said she said vs actual legal documents and spec sheets provided by the manufacturer of said speaker.... The same as Internet/Forum rumor and myth......

Who am I to argue to someone that Santa Clause doesn't exist..... When they believe 100% he does :dunno:

This is essentially the adult version of that... And if you want to believe in Santa Clause who am I to tell you he ain't real. You believe it in your heart bro and that's all that matters *_*

That's an amusing line of bullshit. Celestion states the spec clearly. It's 20w. That's what's printed on the speaker. That's what's on their website. That's what resellers quote.

It would be to Celestion's advantage to sell the speaker as a 25w unit. They don't because they can't because it's not

No doubt Celestion goofed by listing it on their website as 20 watts, but that doesn't change the fact that it can handle 25 watts as stated by Celestion representatives.

By your line of logic, the 100 watt rating in the cab is bullshit?

Either way. We can talk about wattage rating til we are blue in the face. But some of us have run these cabs for years at volume with zero consequences

Keep on bargaining you're almost to the next stage.

And on the speaker? That's not a goof. It's the spec.

There's no amount of wishful thinking that will find those other 5w :D

Right on and that's is fine...... It doesn't change the laws of physics now or reality and the reality is these are 20 watt speakers based on verified facts, evidence, spec sheets, binding legal documents and the manufacturer that makes them which is Celestion.

All I do is match ohms . I have no idea what the fuck you guys are talking about. But ask Omni about my tones in person . They are great . So why even think about this stuff
My 98 5150II has never even blown a tube . Still sounds great . I’ve just used with 1x 12 to a full stack . I just match ohms
I’m blown away by this thread . So have any you fucked your amps up this way as debated ? Like what’s the odds . Who’s had it happen ?
Genuinely curious
