Cable Bags?

Do you use a separate cable bag at gigs, or do you pack your cables up with other equipment? Throw the cables in your guitar case? Lay them in your pedalboard case? Cram them in the back of the amp? What works for you?

I use the Gator aluminum board and it came in a super nice padded case; I just pile my cables up on top of the pedals then zip up the case

My band brings a bag with extra everything and a flashlight.

That way if there is a problem there is only one place to look for the solution when playing live.

Storage is kind of random. I need to get that sorted.

Mine go in the pedalboard case. The dedicated in/out are usually attached to the pedal board, so the only loose ones are the speaker cable & two more for the FX loop when needed.

In the back of the rack generally. Or back of a combo amp or in a satchel with all my other crap like capos, slides etc.

I have the small D'Addario "solo" backpack that has dividers for each cable. I don't have to put velcro straps to hold the cables rolled up. I like it alot, actually.

I'd get the bigger one if I could do it over again.

I really want one of the larger backline bags but can never bring myself to pull the trigger...my husky toolbags get the job done. Guess I'm too cheap.

I use a travel/flight carry on luggage bag.

It's big enough to carry everything that isn't my pedalboard, amp, or cabinets, has enough random storage compartments to carry extra pedals like wah and volume, and even commonly-used tools and strings, capos, tape, etc.

Plus I can carry it with one hand, lock it, and it has one of those pull-out handles to roll if I need to because it's heavy or something

These things are stupidly cheap, and you can find them at every yard sale on planet earth for peanuts. When they get worn out, just buy another one.
