Can a facepalm emoji be added to the likes?

You'd think so.

I'll call admin. @nero
Maybe you can ask him if we can get a JAMES TYLER GUITAR headstock emoji while you discuss the facepalm stuff. That would really set this place on fire especially considering the tan pants stuff is really taking flight lately.

As has been the case with custom titles and the phenomenon I've banged on about for years, we can already see the rabbit hole appearing.

This is essentially why the options have remained Spartan thus far.

The current "suite" of options involves no down-putting of the poster. Each is a valid emotional response. Facepalming immediately reflects badly on the poster, as do the poo emoji and others.

Just something to consider...

That’s the point lol.
At least Angry works.

The beautiful thing is this isn't the case with the JAMES TYLER headstock emoji. Everyone loves those.

Yes, but they're not in the quick-option "menu", as you're rightly pointing out.

There's an obvious distinction. The angry one, in the context it's provided, suggests that a post made one angry, not the poster him / herself.

Guys, I'm not gatekeeping this; just pointing out that a discursion from the pre-determined options opens up a rabbit hole. The pre-determined options seek to foster a happier community. This approach is only evident in tiny dribs and drabs here and there, so it's not like we're trying to curtail anyone's FoS. There's a plethora of emoji options in the posting menu, so there's always those.
