im sure i'll get flamed on this...i like the before look better. i just like skanky, beat up old gear.. ...BUT, in regards to the restoration work, its really awesome! Blackmore used those in the 80's with Rainbow and they looked really cool on stage stacked up. congrats

I'd never flame you for that, to a certain extent I agree. I had an old JMP previous to this and liked the older look. Trust me, this one was beat up pretty bad on the outside and beyond the mojo factor. Look at that thing! Didn't know Blackmore used these, I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

Those white stacks look awesome, Blackmore is tearing it up too. Never really gave him a good listen, might have to reconsider.

It might have been, not sure what the chain of ownership was unless you mean your current JMP . I got it from piccasochild. Needed a couple of easy fixes to get it back to stock. One power tube wasn't working because of a bad resistor and a cap wasn't grounded. After that it sang and smokes pretty good now with the new mod.

They're beautiful, even in this condition. Ok maybe not beautiful. Only gear whores can love an amp like that, its like your kid!

Nope, still have mine. The funny thing is, mine has some engraving on the back, some of which was there when I bought it in 82. I used an engraver to scratch all that out and put my name on the back. Point being, it's in the same spot where it looks like something got scratched out on yours. Funny...

Nice playing, amp sounds great. I hate when people engrave anything on a Marshall and then scrape it off. I guess that's better than having some jokers name on the back. How does that Bogner sound?

Don't think that isn't going through my head!! It does look pretty good on the BX cab but the randy mojo would be in full force with the half stack for sure.
