Collective Soul

I also liked this band since the first came out.

I even sang one of their songs in one of the variety bands I was in.

Their early music brings back a lot of good memories.

We covered it but didn't get hired back as I used the toilet paper tube for the vocal effect cause that's what Ed used. Owner thought otherwise

I enjoy some of their material, but I would highly recommend to anyone to pass on seeing them live. I saw them a couple of months ago. The band was fine, great in fact, but the singer was absolutely horrible. I'm pretty sure he was either drunk or really high on something, and he sounded like a dying goat. He couldn't sing a single one of their songs well.

I happened to see them a while back and had a similar experience.

This type of music definitely isn't my thing, so I didn't realize how bad the performance was until talking to others in the crowd 🤷‍♂️

Way overplayed, but they had some catchy songs. Not a big fan of the singer's voice, as it reminds me of Pearl Jam. However, I recently heard that Shine was a demo and that was never the intended final version. Pretty impressive that a demo became such a huge hit.

As someone who may or may not have graduated in the Ninties
Collective who?
I had to Google it. While I vaigly remember the name I feel I have not missed or forgotten anything important here. Thanks for sharing.
