Orthodox liturgy is all chant and generally no instruments are allowed although a few modern Greek churches have organs. If I want to see a band I go to a club not church but I gig with many players who play in church bands, mostly baptist, catholic, and mega church gigs.

My gigging days are far behind me, but my last gigging rig was a DSL 50 with a boost and a gate. Probably did a hundred gigs with that setup. Thrash band, of course . I switched from an 800 to the DSL mostly because I got tired of being told to turn down.

Madison Square Basement is my gig these days and I’m perfectly happy.

If I were to gig today, I would strongly consider using a Katana with a cab. I like a head and cab. And Price point and functionality appeal to me….if it were to get messed up, I can buy another relatively inexpensively.

I know where my local orthodox churches are but I cant say where the church isnt since believers make up the body of Christ and I am unable to read hearts.

Sweet dude, ive actually been thinking about grabbing a tonex one and going straight into FOH as well.

I run my r8 or 55’ junior into my fm3. I usually run them into a hiwatt profile with the kot out front. Will throw reverb and delay at it as needed. Always run the fm3 direct to the mixer. The whole team is on in ears so we run a “silent stage”
