It's bad man........ one day I looked at how many total posts existed on this main forum when I got to work and when I left about 6-7 hours later there had been 30 something posts. We used to do that in 10 minutes.

And I must be getting old, but I have been popping onto the Gear Page and not only see some of the guys that used to post here, but being interested in several of the threads going. Next thing I'll be selling my superstrats and getting a strat and a Deluxe Reverb and a Klon!

Well, lately I've been playing with a country band and my main rig is a tele and Hot Rod Deville along with some nice pedals.
Still a rocker/metal head at heart though.

TGP isn't all bad and there are definitely some cool people there but it feels so stuffy and everyone's cynical. I don't want to have to walk on eggshells and worry about getting a slap on the hand if I feel like voicing my opinion or whatever.. Could be a great place if it wasn't so stuffy in there. Maybe I'm just thinking its worse than it really is?

Man, I have read on more than one occasion that Chubtone rips on guitar. I'd say that's an understatement. The man breaths fire! Killer riffing in that video.

We are playing next Saturday (just east of Sacramento) in Nevada City, nice outdoor show. If you want to make it out I could see about getting you and a guest in.
It's with a full on 50 piece symphony and a 50+ piece choir.

Here's a a recent vid (sorry about the quality, someone in the 2nd row with a cell phone) from a gig in Austin, TX a few weeks ago.
I'm really digging this symphony gig...and it covers a lot of bands with other shows. We also do other shows featuring the music of the Eagles...Kiss...Elton John....

He got into it with someone you shouldn't get into it with here and figured this forum wasn't worth his effort. So we lost an extremely knowledgeable tech and a great player. No big deal though. The guy worked for the real Jose when he was a teenager. The guy replaced Paul Gilbert in a band when he left to form Racer X. The guy replaced Kurt James in a band when Kurt left to replace Yngwie Freaking Malmsteen in Steeler! We don't need Carl's type here. What could he possibly have to offer?
