Feel difference Rectos Old vs New

I have owned quite a few Rectos in the past (Rev G+MW+RI - Dual and Rev F+MW Triple).

And I have noticed, that the old 2Ch ones feel very different under the Hand than the new ones. Let it be 3ch, MW or the Reissues, doesn’t matter.
The old one feel more organic, a bit stiffer, you can and have to really dig in..kinda like a Mark Series.

So..Does someone maybe know why and what this is? Transformers? Is it a Bias thing? Compression?

Did you guys have the same experience, or am I just a stupidl dork?

Those adjectives seem to be at odds with each other. And my experience has been different. The Reissues are stiffer to me. The older ones are looser.

Nope, my experience is different. The older models have all been looser to me. Most likely due to lower filtering from aging electrolytics. I don't know much about the transformers. In 25-30 years, I'm sure the current reissues will sound exactly like how the Rev G/F sound today.

The only differences I can see in the circuits are the lack of LDRs in the RI and a series loop. Everything else looks mostly identical, but I haven't gone through part by part to compare.
