For you guys who play/own a bass...

One kind of like this Rickenbacker 4008 was my favorite Bass:

But, any 4003 or 4001 will do. I started out in 1966 with a Hofner, went to a P-Bass, then a J-Bass, tried a few Gibsons, and finally ended up with a Rick 4001 and, finally, the above mentioned 4008.
 
Yamaha BB414. Has a punchy tone, nice looks and I love the simplicity of the passive controls. Just a 3-way switch and a tone knob. I previously had an active Cort Artisan A5 bass that wasn't bad either but I didn't need a 5-string nor the active controls.

My Ibanez MIJ RG bass was like $140.

I think it's the RD707 or something. killer bass BTW. :thumbsup:
