Have any of you guys tried a PS-2 vs a two notes captor? I have a Captor right now but I was thinking of grabbing a PS-2. I'm mainly concerned how the attenuation compares between the two.
The reason I ask is that as a reactive load into an IR, I prefer the Suhr RLIR to the Power Station 2 into the same IR in the Suhr RLIR. As a reamper, I really love the PS2, but I have learned that I like to have the switches set to other than flat, as then the load is reactive.
Right now I'm just using it as an attenuator for the most part but that is because I can get the tone of my Orthos with my Ceres direct into my interface with Wall of Sound. I have a Marshall Superlead on the way though so I will be using it equally between attenuation and as a reactive load. I dont really ever reamp.

I had the captor and returned it to get the PS2. It's a lot more expensive so was hesitant but the attenuation is much better. I feel the Captor is really designed to be used as load box, the attenuator is just there as an additional feature and didn't sound great in my opinion.
