Fuck SweetWater........ They have been destroying and have destroyed the American Music Industry : (

Yes yes..... You have Celiac disease..... Like 20% of everyone else asking for gluten free options....

NVM only 1% of the population actually has this. Okay sure..... Enjoy your gluten free whatever given that you do...... Don't choke on the bread.

Never directed any comments towards Indians...... 100% respect to your fam. I imagine they are good, hardworking and amazing people.

As said if you want to support the destruction of American Business and the American Music Industry then you have one clear choice..... Buy and order on Amazon Prime and buy and order from SweetWater.

No one is stopping you my guy and it's a free country :dunno:
For the record: we are Hoosiers, not Indians.

What the fuck is wrong with you?
Hey I'm not the one who brought up dudes family or ever made a comment about them .... Dude did and even though I never said anything I apologized.

What's wrong with dude and what's wrong with you, why bring your family into a conversation as a shield.... who knows but yeah and as said I apologized over comments I never made about his fam and 100% respect to his fam. I'm not that type of guy to insult a dudes family over Opposing Viewpoints:dunno:

NVM he brought his own information as a counterpoint only to prove the very thing he's arguing against.....

I mean yeah aside from the noise and BS that part is pretty hilarious 😂

311s information regarding SweetWater not mine..... Proving my point.

Market Share: It is the largest online retailer of musical instruments in the U.S., reporting a record $1.86 billion in revenue for 2025

Being the largest doesn't make you a monopoly. A decent business school would teach you that.

Saying things in public about a business that has the potential to harm that business is indeed libel. A decent business school would teach you that.

Well it does depending on the market share online ...... And if you dug a bit most inductive/deductive reasoning would say it is..... Like fucking Amazon right...... Who would argue Amazon doesn't have a monopoly.....

And if it ain't it practically is a Monopoly...... Nvm their Campus...... You know how sweatshops in North Korea/China/Venezuela have a "Campus" too and all........ American Campus in America..... How quaint :dunno:

Good stuff *_*

311Lame seems to have issues with a healthy debate...... :dunno:

First he puts up a ninny, sissy, hissy fit..... Then he makes a thread that is pretty much just my thread but with an opposing viewpoint.......

He then comes back to stick his own head up his ass in my thread while he has a case of raging diarrhea.... Truly a shameless circle of shit. Its pretty hilarious 😂

What exactly are you saying......

SweetWater conducts more than 50% of online sales in the music industry..... How the fuck isn't it a monopoly by definition or in practical terms. It very much fucking is and as said it's thanks to being run like a 3rd World C5 within America in Fort Wayne Indiana.......

Fuck that and Fuck SweetWater...... As said they are destroying the American Music Industry :dunno:
Its simple math, really. 50% of people are buying online from Sweetwater. They're not putting a gun to anybody's head. It's the consumer that's choosing to do business with them. FWIW, I don't buy from them, personally. I have a few mom and pops that I buy from to avoid sales tax, or American Musical Supply.

In a capitalist system monopoly doesn't equal exploitation.

It's simply an indicator of success.

I'll add this:

Every ambitious business owner hopes / aims for... monopoly. Not to exploit, but simply to dominate market share.

Kind of felt like responding to Brother Monkey Man-san only with this initially but being as your post overlap.....

What youre saying is true and applies to Pre-1906 or even before then.......Sherman Act (1890), Clayton Act (1914), and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act (1914)........

Simply put Monopolies are unAmerican ......
.. The laws are there telling companies/corporations not to do A, B and C and do X, Y and Z but there seems to be all these modern day and obvious loop holes when you look at the numbers that allow companies/corporations to do A, B and C while companies/corporations call it D, E and F........

These Monopolies have found a way to still do A, B And C but call it D, E and F as per example by places like Amazon and well SweetWater here....... The laws haven't kept up with the times.....

Respectfully its not a "Jungle".....

And its not 1906 in America or Pre-1906...... In this aspect maybe we should be going forward not backwards in 2026 :dunno:

According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), a monopoly is a firm with "significant and durable market power" that can control prices and exclude competitors. While possessing a monopoly is not illegal, maintaining it through unreasonable, exclusionary, or anticompetitive behavior—rather than superior products or business acumen—violates antitrust laws.

Key aspects of a monopoly under FTC guidance include:

Market Share & Power: Courts often look for over 50% market share, but a high share alone does not automatically prove monopoly power. The power must be sustainable over time, often requiring market shares to exceed two-thirds.

Illegal vs. Legal Monopoly: A monopoly obtained through superior products, patents, or business acumen is generally legal. A monopoly maintained by anti-competitive acts—like exclusionary contracts or punishing rivals—is illegal.

Anticompetitive Conduct: The FTC targets behaviors that impair competitors' ability to compete, such as leveraging a monopoly in one market to gain an advantage in another.

Impact on Consumers: Monopolies are scrutinised when they result in higher prices, lower quality, or reduced innovation.
The FTC enforces this through the Sherman Act, ensuring companies do not unreasonably restrain trad

Yes as said........

Tell that to Amazon right or SweetWater in this case..... Laws are in place telling companies/corporations not to do A, B and C...... And to do X, Y and Z.....

And it's only natural especially as 100+ year old laws don't seem to have caught up with the modern day that they still do A, B and C and just call it D, E and F......... Respectfully its painfully obvious :dunno:

It is really hard to quote you so I apologize in advance

If one wants to buy from Amazon and order from Amazon Prime that's fine......
You keep bringing up Amazon but I thought this was about Sweetwater?

I never made about dudes family.

Celiac disease is just a fancy way of saying gluten allergy....... it's like making a joke about the kid with a peanut allergy.
You were making fun of Indiana and gluten earlier and as much as that's your choice, I was just letting you know that was below the belt for me. And Celiac Disease is called just that. Celiac Disease. It is not a fancy way of saying gluten allergy - like a peanut allergy. Both can kill a person, just one is more slowly than the other. Both are an autoimmune disease. Besides, I don't make fun of your health issues.

The information I brought did not prove what you say it does.

You created a rather defamatory thread last week. This one. The one that is now in OTC. I felt compelled to provide facts that proved otherwise. Both here and there. But I've wasted enough time on you today. Good night. :)

But please make sure you have the last word
